Issues migrating to new server

    @matthewordie

    I just moved my WP install from my Dreamhost server, to a clients GoDaddy server. My home page works and I’m able to log into wordpress just fine. But all my inner pages go to 404.

    Any ideas? I went through all my database and made sure all my URLs were updated to the new domain.

    Try re-saving your permalink structure at Settings/Permalinks in your admin panel. If WordPress cannot automatically edit the .htaccess file, it will provide manual instructions after saving.

    it must be the htaccess problem, if it solves using the method posted above, you can then try to give all permissions to the htaccess file (read/write/execute) and change your permalinks structure again to friendly links. i have faced this problem with godaddy too but it gets solved finally.

    also, it can be a faulty plugin, try disabling all the plugins.
