• We are experiencing the following issues using the licenses PRO version! I have sent 10+ emails and often get a prompt response about looking into the issue, but I have received NO help.

This is for a client of mine that runs a business. My client is very frustrated with the time it has taken for me to release this site. I am going to have to spend this weekend looking for a new plugin! I really liked this plugin, but it has these very real issues:

    1. Everyone receives an email for Appt. Reschedules, Bank Payments, and Status Changes, but NOT for New Bookings! This is a very serious flaw!

    2. Setting the “Default Status for Local Payments” to Approved does NOT work. ALL Appts are still stuck in ‘pending’ status. IF this would automatically go to Approved, everyone would receive the emails under ‘status change’, and we could get by.

    3. When multiple admins are present on the site, no site admins receive ANY email.

Please note that I have tried this on three different hosting sites. On both Windows Hosted sites and Linux Hosted Sites. I’ve uninstalled and re-installed and even set up a brand new WordPress site and the only thing I did was install this plugin and still, all three above are true.

Also, please note that email is indeed working. This is the frustrating part! It is simply not sending notifications for a new booking (the first three in the Notifications tab).

The only feedback I’ve received from support was in the form of questions around PayPal! Then they send a link to the Wiki and/or tell me that ‘it works on our servers’.

If these three items were addressed, this would be a great plugin! I’m not giving 1 star to flame someone, I’m giving 1 star because I paid $99 for a worthless plugin!

I’m asking for a full refund.

  • Thank you for your review, although, this forum is not for the paid version i will try to clarify some points.

    1. Everyone receives an email for Appt. Reschedules, Bank Payments, and Status Changes, but NOT for New Bookings! This is a very serious flaw!

This issue is very strange, the plugin has been used for about 6 months, this is the most important function of the plugin we have checked it on several servers and it works perfect. So.. I’d bet there has to be some kind of configuration that’s not allowing the plugin to send emails for new bookings.

If you’re using PayPal you have to set the PayPal IPN, that’s explained on the our DOC center.

    3. When multiple admins are present on the site, no site admins receive ANY email.

This is right, only the master admin will receive a notification. The plugin won’t send an email to all your admins. We’re not advertising this feature.

Also, please note that email is indeed working. This is the frustrating part! It is simply not sending notifications for a new booking (the first three in the Notifications tab).

So.. the email module works, i don’t understand what you mean by “the first three in the Notifications tab”

Please note, we’re not allowed to help paid members here on WordPress forums. If you’ve contacted our support then you should receive a reply soon.

Once again, I’m sorry to learn about the issues you’re experiencing.

    Cheers

I understand you can’t help here, but your staff has not responded to my numerous emails and cases. The last response I received was on June 23rd. The guy asked for temporary admin, which I granted, but I never heard back. I responded 4 times since then, asking even an update.

If you’re using PayPal you have to set the PayPal IPN, that’s explained on the our DOC center.

This issue occurs with the “Bank Payment” option.

I guess I was not clear on this one. Even the master admin does not receive emails. On one of the other sites I’m testing this plugin on for troubleshooting purposes, that only has one (1) Admin and he receives emails.

Plus, even if that worked, I’d rather the admin of my choice receive emails. I don’t want to manage my client’s calendar.

I would be very happy and even transparent on this review if you could help me figure out it was a configuration issue. But please keep in mind that I’ve tested this on three (3) different WordPress Templates and on three (3) different hosting providers. One of them is a brand new WP Setup with only this plugin installed.

Even if you could point me in the direction of what to monitor on the Web Server itself. My Web Admin has run traces while I do this and is unable to see any errors, but he mentioned that to get more detailed traces, he would need guidance on where to monitor specifically.

So.. the email module works, I don’t understand what you mean by “the first three in the Notifications tab”

Clarification around ‘the first three in the Notifications tab’.

As I’m sure you know, on the Notifications Tab of your plugin, there are nine email templates for different types of communications.

    No Emails Sent

    Admin Message New Booking
    Staff Message New Booking
    Client Message New Booking

    Emails Send Fine

    Reschedule Message
Bank Payment Message For the Client
Bank Payment Message For the Admin
    Appointment Status Changed Admin Email
    Appointment Status Changed Staff Email
    Appointment Status Changed Client Email
