I am using a mesh version that I downloaded about 2 weeks ago. So I want to point out three minor points that should be covered.

    1. Selecting ‘Bootstrap’ as a grid layout doesn’t have any effect at all.
    2. Activate Mesh on a post, write a text in the mesh section of a post. Then deactivate the mesh plugin. The text in the post is still visible on the respective page evenif the plugin is deactivated.
    3. On a page with mesh activated, click reorder sections and drag one section to another position and save the order. You have to refresh the page otherwise the dragged section isn’t rich text editable or editable at all.

Hi @besabestin, thank you so much for the feedback.

    1. Going to take a look at this. It should change the css class output.
    2. We actually consider that a feature! The data is saved to the post in order to be accessible with the built in search functionality. In our opinion even if you decide to not use Mesh. You should still have your content, it doesn’t belong to the mesh plugin and it should not be deleted. Maybe we can make an option to the settings to say delete all data on uninstall, and maybe we add in an option to “post content” on deactivate as well.
    3. Taking a look into this as well.

    Hey @besabestin,

I’ve added #3 to our github and have started to debug it. If you want to follow the issue you can view it here https://github.com/linchpin/mesh/issues/135.

I’ll be adding in the other items to github as well.

@besabestin #3 has been addressed and released in 1.2
#2 We actually have planned for the next release.
#1 This is open in github as well. Structure row/column classes do change BUT but we are not enqueueing or printing any css styles by default so the labelling I realized isn’t all that clear. It should say “Use Bootstrap built into my theme”.

If you’re still using the plugin please give the update a try. If you’ve moved on please give it another try. I am going to Mark this specific issue as resolved but open up another issue specifically to bootstrap.

Great! thanks for the fixes. Do you think new mesh update has any problem? Clicking on “Display Title” checkbox doesn’t seem to have effect… and the title can’t be shown. Is this something you guys are aware of or something I am missing.

Anyways it worked for me when i changed line 127 of class.mesh-controls.php from “title-display” to “display-title”

Ahh yes there is a fix in a branch on github that I planned on merging in soon.

Good that you are @aware! 🙂
