Issue w/ Woo Subscriptions and PayPal – creates subscription before $$ received

Hi, I am testing Woo Subscriptions and noticed an odd behavior when checking out with PayPal.

It redirects me to the PayPal checkout page as expected, but if i decide to cancel the transaction and return to the website, the records show a subscription has been created for the user and is marked as Cancelled.

This is a problem because it directly conflicts with the option in subscription products for “Limit subscription to one of any status” turned on, so now the test user can’t purchase because of this.

Any suggestions as to why a subscription profile is created and marked as cancelled before a payment is completed?
