Support » Fixing WordPress » Issue with Widgets and Shortcodes on Widget-Ready Custom theme

  • So I have designed a customer WordPress theme, and I’ve done everything the same way I normally do with designing themes for people, or myself and I’ve created functions.php and registered sidebars. However on this one particular site. When I add a custom sidebar, then add something to it. It shows the title, and the before, after, etc. Just not the widgets content (for example trying to use Cardoza’s Poll Script [WP-Poll], and it will show the title, but not the question, or the questions).

I have checked and the function doesn’t work on using a shortcode either. Originally when the site was designed, it was designed with the normal wp_head() and wp_meta() as well as wp_print_scripts(). So I’m not sure where I’m going wrong.

Any one had an issue somewhat similar or can point me in the right direction?
