Am I correct that the Translate Configuration page seems to be missing something:

Shouldn’t this be where you can choose a label to display with the player for the translated languages?

    Hi @lblake,
Yes and No 😉 You are right that they used to be labels, now we have changed it for flags. Do you believe that there should be still options for labels as well?

    Cheers,

I don’t know about flags. Where are the flags? My issue is when I last had the plugin installed I believe you enabled what languages you want displayed with the post and whether to include the translated text on the translate configuration page. Now I have enabled text to speech on a post, published the post, translated it to three languages and updated the post, and I don’t know how to show the translations with the post. Please advise.

    Hi,
The page itself should look like this now: https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/tomash-temp/Screen+Shot+2018-09-13+at+3.55.16+PM.png

    It doesnt?

No, there are no flags attached to the player on the post I published. I checked the S3 bucket and the translated mp3 files are in the bucket. But no flags.

Hmm, strange. Can you share the link to the sample post page here? (if it’s ok). Also, can you try to re-save the translate config page?

Well now the flags have appeared. I assure you the flags weren’t there when the post was first published, translated, and updated. And I had saved the translate config several times. Anyway, that issue seems resolved. I seemed to notice that the translation is not speaking the title of the post. I think that should be an option. Also, it would be good if the language was displayed when hovering over the respective flag. This is probably not something you can affect, but Chrome is going to have “Translate this page?” pop up each time, which may confuse some users.

    Hi,
Yes, the translations don’t have title. I’m working on it, so it will be there in future. Good idea with showing languages when hovering over the flags! I will see if we can implement it!
