Support » Plugin: Theme My Login » Issue with TML and Genesis?

  • Seems with the recent Genesis update, that the TML Themed Profile option no longer works. When viewing profile for members on front end, it shows an error rather than their profile:

    Error thrown
    Call to undefined function genesis_meta_boxes()

    Is there a way to resolve this with TML?

    Thank you.

    It sounds like maybe this question should be asked to the Genesis people.

    I have the same issue which I’ve raised with Studiopress. Tested with twentyseventeen and the issue goes away. It returns when using Genesis on its own and with Genesis Sample. They’re looking into it for me. Did you resolve the issue @pixelhappystudio?

    Thanks, Jeff, that is what I suspected.

    @andy-smith, I’ve not resolved yet. I too will submit support ticket to Studiopress.

    Does anyone have a fix for this? I’ve got the same error upon using TML and a Genesis theme. Thanks

    There’s also this TML support post about this issue

    I am getting this same error with Education Pro theme, TML and Genesis 2.5.0. I need a fix ASAP. No leads yet?

    @generationtech and @rschletty – try raising a ticket with Studiopress. The issue disappears (for me) when I stop using Genesis themes. Studiopress are investigating. More people contacting them might hurry the fix along.

    Apparently this only happens for administrators. Genesis loads some special, admin only controls, on the user profile screen for users with the administrator role. As those controls are meant to be operated only from the back-end of the website, the error message shows on front-end profile.

    Disable front-end profile for administrators from WP Admin -> TML -> Themed Profiles and the error message won’t appear.
