Hi @barthdesigns
We also recommend that, if you haven’t, make sure you’ve set a WooCommerce Shop Page in the WooCommerce settings first, and then make sure you’ve added a breadcrumb title for that shop page – https://yoast.com/help/the-breadcrumbs-title-setting/#woocommerce
That should then add the missing breadcrumb listitem ‘name’ schema that should address the warning you are receiving from Google Search Console.
Michael, thank you!
Actually, I’ve stucked at point 6.:
“Expand the ‘Advanced’ section and change the title.”
I don’t seem to find those options. It might be a po feature?
Thanks!
Hi @barthdesigns
That shouldn’t be a premium feature, it should be readily available in the free version of Yoast SEO.
If you are editing the designated WooCommerce shop page and scroll down to the Yoast SEO meta box, are you able to locate the ‘advanced’ tab? Or could you let us know what you are seeing in the Yoast SEO meta box?
Are you on administrator access? We do know that there is a setting under WP admin dashboard > SEO > General > Features tab that can disable the schema and advanced tab for authors, so you may want to check this.
Thanks for the reply, Micheal!
When I do click on the “Shop page” link under “Settings for Poructs archive” it does redirect me to a page where I see the following 3 (expandable) sections:
– Title Separator
– Homepage & Posts page
– Knowledge Graph & Schema.org
This seems to be under a “General” tab.
And I can not find the option for the next step in the link-tutorial you’ve posted above. (Advanced section)
Yes, I am the site owner and administrator and have the latest version of your plugin installed.
Hi @barthdesigns
If you’ve already set a Shop page in the WooCommerce settings, we wouldn’t expect that that link from the Search Appearance section would lead you to the General tab, but rather, take you to the actual shop page itself.
Is it possible for you to try and go directly to the Shop page from your list of pages and edit it and see if you can add the breadcrumb title in the advanced tab of the Yoast SEO meta box?
I marked this thread as resolved due to a lack of activity by the original poster. The original poster is always welcome to re-open this topic.
If you are not the original poster but have a similar issue, please read this post before opening a new request.
Thanks, Michael!
Yes, I can see a “Breadcrumbs title” option (field) inside shop page -> Yoast SEO settings.
Should I enter my page title here, or main keyword?
Many thanks for your help!
