Hello your plugin is adding thousands of rel=”nofollow” links to my site, which Google has said since 2013 does not need to happen for internal links.

How can update the plugin to not add these? I like the plugin and would like to keep using and even upgrade, however, now I’m considering turning it off all together.

    Please help.

    Hello there,
hope you are doing well! 🙂

Unfortunately, we can’t remove the “nofollow” of the plugin, but if you want, you can override the plugin templates that include the “nofollow”.

The templates are “add-to-wishlist.php” and “add-to-wishlist-button.php”, you have to edit them, delete the “nofollow” and then add the templates in your theme, in the path “/wp-content/themes/your_theme_name/woocommerce/”

Check it and let us know any news, please.

    Have a nice day!

    Hello,

I followed your instructions to remove “nofollow” in both files, and copied them to /wp-content/themes/shopper/woocommerce/. But rel=”nofollow” still there like the following when I view source:
    ———————–
    Add to Wishlist
    —————————————-

I am using the free version, but I don’t think it causes this problem.

Please help me to figure out what went wrong.

    Thanks.

    Bruce

    Any workaround on this issue?

    Sorry, I haven’t found a workaround.
