I have 2.5 running on a test server and I just noticed that when I hit publish my first custom field doesn’t show, but my second one does however. I then look in my posts area i have a draft of that post and another unpublished post. I then have to go back into the published post and re-add the first custom field.

*update* the first custom field I input doesn’t show upon initial publish. I switched the order I usually put them in and the first custom field entered didn’t show. Don’t know if that helps much.

There’s some issues with Custom Fields right now.

As a work around, save your post first, then go back and add the custom fields.

Sigh… At least I am not the only one experiencing this, although it’s funny, I have been developing this site for a week now and I have just only noticed this issue.

On second thought, I had 3 posts that had custom fields set up exactly the same since I noticed this issue. And I like to credit myself for having a keen eye, and I most definitely did not have this issue on the first 3 posts.

The only thing I can think of that I added was a test category, and some php in my single page template, but that didn’t have any correlation with my custom fields.
