It seems to be displaying on every page other than the home page.
This issue has already been encountered by another user. If I remember correctly, there was an incompatibility with the theme he was using or with some plugin. You can search across the old posts.
Anyway, try to disable other plugins and activate the standard TwentySixteen theme and tell me if you have the same issue.
Regards.
Just tried the TwentySixteen theme. It displayed post information in the left sidebar, but I don’t think it was because of this plugin…but instead the theme itself. It didn’t only capture the “News” posts like I have it set, and has different information then what shows on the other pages. I contacted my theme support and they said it was an issue with the plugin…not the theme. I can send you images if you’d like. Not sure how to correct this.
The only “certified” way to make a good test is the following:
1) activate the one of the standard WordPress themes;
2) deactivate all plugins except the plugin you want to test (in this case Posts in Sidebar);
3) test the results;
4) if all works as expected, start activating plugins one by one and test the result after each activation;
5) finally, change the theme activating the theme you were using before the test.
Following these steps, you will understand if the problem is due to a plugin or a theme.
Let me know, please.
What is one of the standard wordpress themes other than TwentySixteen? That one seems to just be a blog theme, so it’s hard to test using that.
Did you follow the steps from 2 to 5?
