    Hi,

First, thanks a lot for this plugin.

It was working great until the last update. Now I can’t replace the published date with the modified date in my posts.

    Like on this page: https://www.tomplanmytrip.com/create-ideal-colombia-itinerary.

I selected the option “replace published date”, but nothing. I cleared all the caches.

Is it because of the Post Date CSS Selector?

Thanks a lot in advance for your help. 🙂

    Hello @tomplanmytrip

Please use this CSS Selector: div.entry-meta span.posted-on

    Hope it helps. Thanks!

    Hi Sayan,

I am having the same issues as tomplanmytrip.

In the previous version, we enabled the “Change Original Time to Modified Time” option enabled from Misc Options and it worked great!

We updated the plugin a couple of days ago…

After noticing our post data weren’t showing modified dates anymore, tried using Replace Published Date in the Post tabs Last Modified Info Display Method.

But it’s not working for us…I’m not sure what to enter in the Enter the Post Date CSS Selector(s)–it currently shows the default: ul li.meta-date

We use the Newspaper theme 10.3.6.1.

Here’s an example of a page that showed the modified date until this recent update: https://www.myhealthyapple.com/3-best-blood-pressure-monitors-use-apples-health-app/

    Hope you can assist.

    Thank you,

    Amanda

I figured it out. It looks like the verbiage changed for this setting.

For folks that used the toggle to “Change Original Time to Modified Time”

Under the Misc. tab, choose the line: Post Date Time Change or Removal and select Covert to Modified Date

Clear your cache and hopefully, it works for you too!

    Cheers,

    Amanda

Thanks Sayan, it works perfectly. You’re awesome!

Amanda, by doing your last technique I think you completely change the published date. I believe it’s no great for SEO as Google will think you’re cheating.

    After, I’m maybe wrong 🙂
