Issue with Pattern_form and "Read More" function

  • Hello H├ęctor,

    Thanks for the great work on this plugin. I do have a couple of issues with it though, and I’m hoping you can help me dealing with them.

    I use this version of the code to include the Popular Posts in my page :

    <?php if (function_exists('wpp_get_mostpopular')) wpp_get_mostpopular("range=weekly&order_by=views&limit=5&thumbnail_width=200&thumbnail_height=40&stats_comments=0&excerpt_length=50&do_pattern=1&pattern_form={title}{image}{summary}"); ?>

    My first issue concerns the patter_form function. Although it displays everything perfectly, neither the title nor the summary of the article have any css class assigned to them, making them impossible to customize. I have tried modifying the plugin’s css sheet without success, have copied it into my theme’s folder too without much luck either. Is this a bug, or have I done something wrong ?

    My second issue would be to add a simple “Read More” link at the bottom of each <li>. I have tried to look at the plugin’s code to see if I could tweak something easily, but it just seems like I can’t. I have also tried adding the following attributes to my calling function :

    `&post_start=\”

    <li>\”&post_end=\”<div id=\’lireplus\’><a>I want more</a></div></li>
    \”&`

    But again, I didn’t get anything. Is there a quick, easy way to implement it or to work around that ?

    Many thanks in advance for your answer, and thanks again for your hard work.

    Hi there,

    No, there’s no easy way to achieve this at the moment without hacking the plugin’s code. I’m planning to add a few more tags to allow more flexibility to the Custom HTML functionality, and hopefully will be available on the next release as well.
