Support » Plugin: Shortcode Pagination for WooCommerce » Issue with Pages 2+

  • I have added the following shortcode onto a Page:

    [products per_page="12" columns="2" category="learning-store" pagination="true"]

It works wonderfully and displays the pagination at the bottom of the page. However, when I click a link, the site 404’s and can’t find page 2 at this URL:

    /learning-store/page/2/

Do I need to pass paged into the query somehow? Shouldn’t the plugin do this? I have reset permalinks.

    Hey,

No, you shouldn’t need to add anything else, but it may depend what page you’re using the shortcode on?

The client wants it to exist on a page called Learning Store, which is actually a child page of the Woo shop, so the url would be like:

    /shop/learning-store/page/2

It works when I just add it to a test page. Can you help me figure out how to make it work?

Please let me know if there’s anything I can do to get this functional. It would be much appreciated. Is it because it’s a child page?

I am having the same problem. It looks like this product does not play well with child pages when it is trying to redirect to the paginated page.

I was able to get the functionality to work when it was a parent page. But, as soon as I tested it on the child, when I click the second page, I am redirected to a 404 – file not found.
