• My blog was just fine until I updated to WordPress 3.4.2 (I had also briefly installed WordPress e-commerce but didn’t like it, so I removed it completely). After the update, my blog 1) stopped auto-posting to my Facebook page and Wall, and 2) would not open the posts I put up, but would go to my static front page. Even past posts, which did post to my Facebook and would open, were no longer opening for anybody.

I went on and got a message that I had to get a new API key from LinksAlpha for Network Publisher to start auto-posting to my social networks again. No biggie, I’ve done it before. Nope. I went on and could not get a new API key without deleting both the Facebook page and the Facebook wall then re-adding them. After that, it was fine (it had been telling me I needed to upgrade to add more accounts to LinksAlpha). I went into WordPress and went to the Network Publisher plug-in to enter the new API key – and it wouldn’t take it. I removed the API keys I’d had on there, and it still would not allow me to add the new API key. The message I keep getting is “Upgrade account. Please upgrade your subscription to continue using current number of networks and websites.”

I then REMOVED Network Publisher completely and went into my account on LinksAlpha and removed my social networks from there. I closed the Internet and rebooted my computer. I went back in, got the networks back into LinksAlpha and got a new API key, then reinstalled the plug-in to my WordPress account and tried to add the API key. Got the same message. I just emailed LinksAlpha but I’m not sure this is on their end at all. Why wouldn’t my blog posts open? To me that suggests an issue with the latest WordPress update. Even when I change from a static front page to latest posts, I cannot open any of those posts in a dedicated page, it keeps rolling right back to the front page.

This is not working for me. I don’t know where to turn at this point and am ready to give up the blog altogether over it. Does anybody have any ideas?

I think, once GoDaddy is back up and running, I may just have to reinstall from there and see if that fixes it. I was hoping the recent “Anonymous” attack on GoDaddy might have been the source of at least some of my issues but sadly that’s not the case. If reinstalling doesn’t work, it’s going to be scrapped. I’m done.
