Issue with importing images to g

Hello everyone,

I use “RSS to posts” plugin which take RSS feed from my FB page and convert it to posts. In this case due to last FB API changes all images have secure cash and it impossible to load it without having that cash in image src. Image link looks like
this.

It is working ok on my site and all images loading ok but then i trying to import this posts to google plus using Jetpack publicize it cutting of the secure hash and images stopping to load. Images urls saved as <og:image> so there no problems with regular share buttons.

Does any one know how to make publicize not to cat off this secure hash from images?

As you can see there image has the next source: “https://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xap1/v/t1.0-9/q92/s130x130/10635991_690178454405418_7284093909698515041_n.jpg?oh=16b9fe96ed720a2bd0e0382054472af8&oe=54A426A2&__gda__=1419173939_9b4f0592cfcec65c0896851b92f8b5be

but og:image tag has no get params.

Jetpack’s Open Graph meta tags do indeed remove extra parameters, so that’s most likely what’s causing the issue here.

Since you use custom image URLs, could you try the following?
1. Install this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-auto-featured-image/
2. A Featured Image should automatically be created from your post image for every new post
3. Jetpack’s Open Graph meta tags should start using this Featured Image.

It seams like posts already have featured image as file uploaded to the site but it steel have image referred to FB in og:image tag.

It could be because that Featured Image is too small to be used as an Open Graph Image tag. Could you try to use larger images (at least 200x200px) as Featured Images? That should solve the issue.

Unfortunately there is no way to receive bigger image that current size from facebook rss feed, which converted to WP posts.

I will try to look for third party crospost services. Thanks for Help!
