    Hello!

I’ve activated GDPR checkbox. The issue is that even if user clicks on checkbox, it still displays error message saying that he must accept the checkbox.

Do you have any fix for that?
    Thanks! 🙂

    Glad to help!

Here is how the checkbox works on default WordPress:

    (zipped video ~1mb)

If that is not happening in any particular case, most likely something is interfering with normal functionality. Here are some general things to check/try:

Let me know if I can provide any further infos, glad to help however possible.

Hey! Unfortunately, nothing helped. I even tested it on my other installation and the same issue occurred.

Well, knowing that the checkbox works fine on default WordPress (as shown in the previous video), the only other things I can recommend:

    – Send a link to your site’s form, and I would be glad to take a look to if anything jumps out as weird or whatever.

    – Set up a new 5-minute install of WordPress, leave all at default settings, install only USP, verify proper functionality, and then begin recreating your site one plugin at a time, testing USP between each, until the culprit is revealed.

    Hey Jeff!

I actually gave you a link to my form in my previous reply 🙂

I think I found the issue: you renamed the setting, “Checkbox Name” from “usp_custom_checkbox” to “Zasady dodawania postów”, which is incorrect. As stated directly beneath the setting:

“Use only alphanumeric, underscores, and dashes. If unsure, use the default name: usp_custom_checkbox”

Please try changing the name so that it meets the specified requirements, and then try again should work fine. Note: do not include any special characters like ó, use only English characters for that particular setting.

    That was it!

I actually missed that sentence “Use only alphanumeric, underscores, and dashes. If unsure, use the default name: usp_custom_checkbox”. That’s my bad.

So, the problem is solved. Thanks for your time! 🙂
