Issue with draft and pending posts

    Hello,
    Last week, when a post was edited and saved as draft or pending post, it was not published (the front post had an access denied) until the status changed into “published”.
    Today, when an author changed a post and saved it as draft, the modifications appeared on front, even if the admin did not publish it.
    So, after making many changes, the drafts or pending posts are all published, before the admin approbation.
    Do you have any idea on what would be the issue?

    Hi,

    If you will change in a post and will directly press the update button it will be directly published. Please check if the status is set to draft there or not.

    Thanks for your answer. But when a post is published and updated after, even if the changes are saved as draft, they are published, before the admin approves the changes.

    Have you checked the post status right now? Also, the post query must be having issues because it should only fetch published post.

    Which theme you are using and where you are viewing the posts?

    I am using WP Ocean theme. I am viewing the posts in the default posts page, where all posts are listed.
    Yes, there is an issue as the posts are published even if they are saved as draft. So, I don’t know where the post status can be found.

    Basically when you edit a post just go to the top left of the screen and select draft from post status and then click submit, it will let the posts in draft.
