I have the latest version of the theme. After the update of the theme I have a problem with the page “customise”, as follow:

Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home/gm2t7sit/public_html/wp-content/themes/sydney/inc/modules/hf-builder/components/header/button/customize-options.php on line 149

Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home/gm2t7sit/public_html/wp-content/themes/sydney/inc/modules/hf-builder/components/header/button/customize-options.php on line 150

Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home/gm2t7sit/public_html/wp-content/themes/sydney/inc/modules/hf-builder/components/header/mobile-hamburger/customize-options.php on line 279

I switched in 7.4 php version. If I change in 8.0 php version the page customise doesn’t appear.

The error appears when I click on “customise”, the page appears but on the top I see the errors above.
If I try to change some color or other in the customise page it doesn’t work. On mobile the menu doesn’t show, on desktop my header should be white but are showing as black.

    Help please 🙂

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @maruskaronchi ,

It appears to happen for the users who switched from v1 header to the header/footer builder directly,

There will be an update next week but a super quick fix right now would be to go to /maruskaronchi.com/wp-admin/options.php (via cPanel/FTP or similar), search for sydney-update-header and set it to 1, then save.

Thanks for your reply but I can’t find ‘sydney-update-header’ in wp-admin/options.php file as you indicated, can I search it in another file?

    Hi @maruskaronchi,

You can visit with web browser {your site address}/wp-admin/options.php (while logged in).

    Hi,

After updating the theme, the errors are gone, but I can’t change the desktop and mobile menu colors, even if I try to change the colors from the “Customize” page, nothing happens. How can I fix it? Thanks.
