# Issue with comments box

 * Hey there folks!
 * I’ve been using the polylang plugin for a while and must say I am more than happy
   with almost everything. However, earlier this week I stumbled in an error which
   I was not able to solve (already checked documentation and other posts).
 * For some reason the comments box is invisible for one language – it works perfectly
   fine with the default language. I also checked the string translations (no missing
   translation) and Discussion-settings of both translations (of the post) and the
   comments are allowed on both. So I went one with testing and manually added a
   comment to the post within the edit section, and now it displays only the comment,
   but adding more comments is disabled:_“Comments are closed.”_ Has anyone had 
   a similar issue and knows how to solve it? Check these examples:
 * The english version of the post(default language), comments and the box are displayed
   as they should: [http://blog.maxruebensal.com/en/the-gap/](http://blog.maxruebensal.com/en/the-gap/)
 * German version (comment box not visible or comments dissabled), – i duplicated
   this version from the original post, so the structure should be exactly the same:
