Hi, we are using the official WooCommerce chained products plugin. For example, we are selling a sofa that has 3 seperate sub products. When the client adds it to the cart, it also adds the sub products in the cart but hides them. If the person abandons the cart and then clicks on a klaviyo abandoned cart email, it re-adds the subproducts to the user’s cart, which not only creates duplicates, but since they weren’t added by the plugin itself, it shows them to the client as well. Also, everytime the user clicks on the abandon cart links, it re-adds the subproducts to her cart, so in this case the user had the main product, the 3 hidden subproducts, then 2 times the 3 subproducts, but not hidden.

Is there any way to fix this?

  • Hi @kokomoweb I am a success engineer at Klaviyo and happy to help with this issue you are experiencing. Could you provide more information please.

    1. what is the website this is happening for and if you can link an example URL for where this occurs?
    2. are you referring to this plugin: https://woocommerce.com/products/chained-products/ ?
In order to provide a fix we would need to reproduce locally so if you can share instructions on how to set it up it would be appreciated.

Lastly you can send me a message at my email if you didn’t want to divulge the private information on this public WordPress.org forum
