Issue Updating Post

    I have a custom post type and it was working just fine till I tried and update it today (Tuesday). I updated a post yesterday (Monday) with no issue.

    The error I am getting: “Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response.” This is only happening with my custom post type, not any regular posts I have.

    I have tried: resetting .htaccess, reinstalling WordPress 6 (both auto and manual), restoring from a backup (June 1st), changing the slug, and changing the permlinks. Any ideas?

    OK. I resolved it. Manually reinstalling the plugin (through FTP) just came to mind, and that seems to have resolved the issue.

    Honestly not sure how re-uploading the files would solve this unless you were somehow missing some of them. The re-upload doesn’t change anything for the settings used with the permalinks. However if it worked, it worked.

    I’m at a loss too. If it had been a corrupted file the restore from the first should have solved it as I don’t think there was update between then and yesterday.

    I’m putting it up to gremlins at the moment.
