Issue playing from sidebar

    I am trying to get a file in my library to play however I’m not sure what shortcode to use or if I need to put any code in the theme header. I have read the instructions but if anyone could help me out that would be great.

    The shortcode used in the sidebar is:
    [mp3t track=”allegro.mp3″ title=”” ind=”n” volslider=”n” style=”bigger4″]

    The Play button comes up but nothing plays. I’ve tried using the URL for the MP3 and that does not work either.

    It looks like it’s the nivo-slider plugin (it has hard-coded an out of date jquery-ui script into the page), please try deactivating it.

    The file you have in the shortcode is fine btw, as is your shortcode, and the url is working fine. It’s just that javascript is a little broken in the page because of that hard-coded script.

    Hi Simon,

    Thanks for the reply. When I deactivate nivo-slider the homepage goes blank apart from the top navigation bar. Therefore indicating an issue however unfortunately I do not have the skill to fix such issues.

    I’ll have to run away from resolving the issue and try another player to see if that works for now and maybe redesign over the Summer.
