Hi, I was happy for finally finding a plugin that answered to my needs.
But since the migration from local to the online server I can’t see the galleries on my pages anymore, nor on the plugin dashboard and I also can’t create new galleries. The images, and shortcodes are still present.
Concerning my pages, I have the same issue on other computers and devices.
I already tried to delete and reinstall the plugin.
    Could you help me?

    Kinds regards,
Thank you in advance for the help.

Hi, are you able to look the list of tables of your database? Sometimes migration tools rename tables by setting all letter to lowercase.

    If you see these tables:

    wp_FinalTiles_gallery
    wp_FinalTiles_gallery_images

then you need to run the following query:

    rename table wp_finaltiles_gallery to wp_ftg_temp
    rename table wp_ftg_temp to wp_FinalTiles_gallery

    rename table wp_finaltiles_gallery_images to wp_ftg_images_temp
    rename table wp_ftg_images_temp to wp_FinalTiles_gallery_images

    Great!! Thank you a lot!
Sorry because I have seen a topic close to mine but I didn’t understand how to process last time…

    Thanks again!

Well in order to run SQL queries you need a panel like PhpMyAdmin which is usually installed on every hosting solution.

    Great work!!
    Thank you.

    This is available in documentation??
    If not then put it.

    Hi there,
What if there is no wp_FinalTiles_gallery tables in db at all, even after reinstalling the plugin?

@jaruzelskee you’ll need to reset an internal counter running the following query:

    delete from wp_options where option_name = 'FinalTiles_gallery_db_version'

I’ll add a workaround to avoid such situations in future.

I have tried this but when i run the query, i get an error: #1064 – You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server

i’m having the same problem, after the migration from local to web my gallerys was working fine, and suddenly today i went to check my site and he gallerys its not showing up anymore, the shortcode is ok, I’ve tried these solutions above but it didn’t work, i get the same error from @jmjeremy

i am a beginner ant this is my first project.

    About

    rename table wp_finaltiles_gallery to wp_ftg_temp
    rename table wp_ftg_temp to wp_FinalTiles_gallery

    rename table wp_finaltiles_gallery_images to wp_ftg_images_temp
    rename table wp_ftg_images_temp to wp_FinalTiles_gallery_images

Can you provide detailed instructions please. I went to the database using phpAdmin from cPanel. I rand the query. Nothing happened.

I am not hardcore programmer. So please provide a details step-by-step instruction as to how to run the query from cPanel. I do not see a provision for renaming a table anywhere.

Do you see two tables named:

    wp_finaltiles_gallery

    and

    wp_finaltiles_gallery_images

    ?

Yes. Very much. And I guess, my service provider gives me the option to rename tables directly.

So I renamed directly. The query was run successfully.

But the table-name looks the same except that I see a message on the top of panel
    _portfolio ┬╗Table: wp_finaltiles_gallery”wp_FinalTiles_gallery”

Is that an indicates that the table is changed?

I don’t know, we should ask who maintain the platform čÖé

The problem is about some migration tools/plugins that make all table names lowercase. Sometimes you can’t simply rename from wp_finaltiles_gallery to wp_FinalTiles_gallery that’s the reason I posted a script that rename the table using a temporary name before renaming to wp_FinalTiles_gallery.

Try to refresh the panel and let’s see if the query has really renamed the tables.

No. I did that. the name shown is same, in lower case. However the display on the top shows
    _portfolio ┬╗Table: wp_finaltiles_galleryÔÇŁwp_FinalTiles_galleryÔÇŁ.

Whereas the original display (before rename) on the top was
    _portfolio ┬╗Table: wp_finaltiles_gallery

This rename option was under Operations Tab.

    Ok.

Can you also check your error_logs? It should be available in your cPanel.

Then please send it to diego@greentreelabs.net

ok. I will recreate it later and share with you.

Actually I got frustrated and I went ahead with another Portfolio plug-in though this one gives me more functionality and freedom. (And the other plug-in is just working fine for my current purpose. Between the two plug-ins, I had zeroed on this one till I hit this glitch).

The scary part with this plug-in is that I need to manually change table names in production every time I upload more photos or add galleries. The solution of renaming tables manually is just a work-around and not an elegant solution. Right now my site is in beta stage so I don’t mind doing it. But once it is baselined I would rather avoid meddling with databases. I wish you can find an elegant solution that will work for the established sites as well as the new ones like mine. I will love to switch back this plug-in if I don’t have to get into rename business.

    Thanks for you prompt support.
