We have developed the period and day of the week functionality to work with hundreds of different store hour combinations. Including multiple periods of open and closed sessions per day of the week. Based upon your feedback, it sounds like the functionality works, but you have found it tedious. We are open to suggestions to improve the usability, but unfortunately the ability to extend a period session across multiple days as you describe will not work with the current development functionality model.
If you have a design recommendation, we’d love to review any mocks or descriptions of how you think it should function. Please reopen the forum post and provide details. We’d be happy to review and evaluate it the design would be possible as an improvement. Otherwise, at this time, we don’t have any plans to modify how the functionality for setting up time periods and date works in the plugin. After many design and testing reviews, we have found this design to work best for most users.
