• Hello,

I am using Cryout Creations “Nirvana” theme (actually I made a child theme from that), and the site I am using it on requires a boxed layout. I added a WooCommerce product as a test, since we are adding a create your own t-shirt store on the site. The issue is, with the boxed layout I have, everything on the WooCommerce product page is aligned to the edges of the boxed content area. I can change this in Chrome’s dev tools by adjusting margins on the WooCommerce stuff, but even when I add “!important”, the change never sticks in either my custom css or the custom css area provided by the theme itself. Do I need to do edits to one of the css files provided by WooCommerce?

Would need to have a closer look to figure our where your styles are coming from. Do you have a URL to look at?

    As well,

When working with a plugin modifying the core files will get overwritten when/if the plug gets updated.

When trying to override the default CSS are you using the development tool and copy/pasting the same selectors that WooCommerce is using?

Few things to look out for with this.

You need to be using at least the same selectors that WooCommerce is using and your styles need to load after WooCommerce.

I also tend to do a wrapper with an ID to make it easier to overwrite their styles.

or as Riaan suggested a URL.
