    I’m experiencing the following issues for Easy Digital Downloads and the Resend Purchase Receipt function:

    Resending the Purchase Receipt from the EDD page in WP doesn’t send the email in the correct language.

    For example, it’ll send the product names in German but the rest of the body text is in English.

    When the initial purchase is made and the user receives the purchase receipt, they receive it in the correct language.

    Please could you advise a fix for this.

    Hello Dave,

    thanks for replying on WPML support and directing us to the development version available here.

    We tested this and it was working… for a few hours.

    Unfortunately this does not work anymore.

    The Resend Purchase email subject is not been translated to the relevant language the purchase was made although its string is translated via WPML.

    Also, the body of the email text is not translated and always appears in English.

    The only texts which arrive translated is the header -inside the email- for the words “Purchase Receipt”, the Product Name and the Product Download text for the download link.

    Everything else arrives in English.

    Nothing has changed on the site since we installed the Development Version. As I reported above, this was working a few hours ago.

    Please have a look ASAP.

    Hello Dave, four days later, unfortunately no fix and no reply. We have also posted this issue on the WPML support forum and we also got no reply.

    Can you please assist by fixing this?

    It is not working as it should.

    Hello Takis,
    I have been watching this space and I will be watching it from now on.
    I believe this issue was resolved long ago on our forums.
