It’s worth mentioning that image upload to the library is working fine.
Thanks again!
I’ve had a similar problem. My belief is that it is due to having a very poor quality broadband connection. In my case, however, the solution, while tedious, is simple. Give it time; try again. Then Click on ‘Update’. The image usually resolves, even if the file name is not showing on the IssueM screen.
Thanks @knbdunlop for your response. I even tried different file formats from jpeg, gif, and png with very small size (about 4 kb) and still didn’t work. I wonder if it’s a code conflict with having the latest version of WordPress.
Sorry to hear it persists, it looks like the IssueM team need to respond to you. In case it helps with your diagnosis, my site uses WP 4.9.5 and it works fine.
Thanks! I hope the IssueM team would help as well. I went as far as cloning the whole site on my local computer and tried to assign a cover image… but it didn’t work either. At this point, I’m not sure what else to try.
I’ve exhausted all avenues I can think of. This should be a simple fix but I spent too much time trying to figure it out.
Is there anyone from the IssueM moderators checking this forum?!
