Issue Closing Video Lightbox in IE

I have tried this a few ways ( with other plugins like slider revolution and without other plugins) I create a button to open short youtube video in a lightbox on the landing page. It works fine to open and play the video….but when you click on the close[X] or background area to close the video. It does close the lightbox….. but also creates a delayed link to the youtube page in Internet Explorer.
Note: It does work fine in Chrome.
Any ideas?
