Hey Dan (@kassinopious)
Sorry about that! With the new version, we updated some of the attributes a bit.
You should use [wpc_button post=”459″] instead of id. The id attribute is no longer being used to reference another post or page.
In addition to not changing any of these going forward, we are in the process of putting together a docs page that’ll be better about listing the available shortcodes and their accepted attributes to help clear up any of this stuff in the future.
Thanks Zack – does it matter what the post type is? i.e. most of our content is on ‘pages’ rather than ‘posts’ ?
Also, whilst I’ve got your attention, do you think there is any scope to have multiple completion statuses for courses? I’d really love to be able to allow members to mark pages as “Not Started”, “In Progress” and “Complete”.. or maybe even throw in a 4th option of “Bookmarked” or something like that?
Really hope you can help with that request! Support so far has been exceptional!
Best regards,
Dan

It doesn’t matter the post type. It should work for any content type (post
is being uses as the general term WordPress uses to describe any page or post).
We might actually have plans for more statuses in the future. 🙂
