    Hi please, I’m testing the Post Grid in the Isotope layout and notice that I have an issue with the footer area of the page. The issue disappears if I change from Isotope to the other layout, while comes back with isotope, and remain whatever page template I choose (fullwidth or with sidebar), and remain whatever layout setting I choose (2 or 3 or 4 columns…), … Hope anyone can understand how to fix it! Many thanks

    Hi, thank-you for your answer – sorry for my late answer but I notice only now!
    Ok, I’ve just done another example of post grid – isotope mode and 4 columns:

    Consider that I’ve just tried to deactivate all other plug in but the problem persist…
    Many thanks for helping me.

    Hello,

    May be JS conflict with theme in your theme footer widget are absolute position. It got height 0 so this issue.

    I write specific page css try this.

    For this page http://www.ranierilavastone.com/test-post-grid/

    .postid-7463 .footer-sidebar {
        min-height: 210px !important;
    }

    .postid-7463 .footer-sidebar .widget{
        position: relative !important;
        left: 0px !important;
        top: 0px !important;
    }

    Thanks

    many thanks, it works.
    Can I ask a further question: to understand the footer widget absolute position is a deprecated or obsolete solution? The theme I’m using is a child theme of Twenty Fourteen, and I did not change anything as regards the footer widget – so, I’d like to understand if abosulte position of footer widget is an old-fashioned solution
    many thanks
