    Hi all,

    I’m trying to post to my WP 1.5.1.3 blog by e-mail using my cellphone (a SonyEricsson Z600). The wp_iso_descrambler in wp-mail.php won’t do its job, the post title comes out like this:

    =?ISO-8859-1?Q?Test_Titel_Test?=

    The mail header says:

    From: aaaaaaa@nasobem.ch
    To: bbbbbbb@nasobem.ch
    Subject: =?ISO-8859-1?Q?Test_Titel_Test?=
    Date: 22 Jul 2005 17:29:20 +0200
    Mime-Version: 1.0
    Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN;
    charset=”ISO-8859-1″
    Content-Transfer-Encoding: QUOTED-PRINTABLE

    I can’t change the output settings on my phone. I tried the Postie plugin, didn’t change anything. I really don’t get why the descrambler won’t do what it’s told?!

    In any case, I’d be glad already if I could post all mails with a default title (eg, “Moblog”). So… how can I tweak the wp-mail.php to ignore the mail subject and post a default title?

    I’m a utter novice in php, any help is appreciated, thanks!

    Found it out. There is, of course, already a patch in Ticket #1515. Sorry for not searching the archive hard enough…
