Is wp-cache REALLY caching pages?

    Been using wp-cache for the past few days and noticed a strange behavior:

    when a reader posts a comment, the comment shows up immediately – which I understand wp-cache facilitates… but the latest comment pops up immediately in my recent comments in the side bar (using Krischan Jodies recent comments plugin)

    Shouldn’t the latest comment show up in the recent comments sidebar, only when the cache page time has expired and a new dynamic page is served.

    Strangely enough the “cached page served” message does show up in source of the page even when a latest comment shows up in the sidebar…

    Any thoughts on this?
