Is WordPress.com "mshots" program available as open source?

    Is there a way to use the cope found at http://s.wordpress.com/mshots/ ?

    That is used to grab screenshots, but it does not allow SSL and secure connections. So I was wondering if that is open source code I could install on my own servers to use for my own purposes?
