Is wordpress written in mixure of php-4.x and php-5.x ?

    Not sure what that’s about but more importantly, WordPress 3.4.1 requires that you use PHP 5.2.4 or later.

    Is there some code included that will run on 4.x? Probably, but newer code has that 5.2.4 or later requirement and won’t run on the old PHP version.

    My question was: Is there any mixute with php-4.x and php-5.x?
    Is there any portion of code written in php-4.x inside wordpress?
    Or were all php-4.x codes converted/updated/upgraded to php-5.x?

    The entire php language doesn’t change with versioning

    Deprecated code would be updated…..
