Is Woocommerce the right fit for this eCommerce site

We are looking to make a switch from bigcommerce to a new platform for a variety of reasons and woocommmerce seems to be a possibility. After talking to many developers I am getting a mixture of answers pertaining to what is the right platform for us to build a new site on. Below is the current stat’s for the site.

At the current time the website has
-260,000 SKUs
-4000 visitors per day
-100 orders per day

(1) Is woocommerce a good fit for this website based on its current situation and future growth? (hoping to increase traffic and orders by at least 100% in 1-2 years as well as adding additional skus)

(2) When I speak with a lot of developers and tell them that the site has 260k skus they immediately try to steer me to something more enterprise like magento. Does have a huge number of SKUs have much impact on choosing woocommerce over something like magento? Is that overkill here based on the level of traffic and sales?
