Is waiting for processing necessary

    I have submitted 10 images, and closed out of the tab on processing percentages in intervals of 10% from 0 to 100.

    On the image that was closed out of processing at 10%, at first the backend displayed “No Image Available”. After about 2 minutes, the image eventually showed up just fine

    Which makes me question:

    1.) What actually goes on in processing?
    2.) Is the user free to close out of the tab at any time as long as the upload reaches 100%?

    Sorry for delay,
    Due to Covid-19 most of the offices are closed and we are unable to give proper time.

    The processing is completely background task, even if user closes it that will not make a much difference.
    But if dashboard, gallery is checked immediately you may see broken image link.

    In background it will created various multiple images of different sizes. Which may take time based on the original image file dimension and your server php execution time and memory.

    Thank you for this answer, so technically I can allow each of my users to close out of the page before processing is complete
