@richardb First, we want to apologize for any problems caused by the 14.0-14.1 updates. Please know we are working hard on resolving the issues with those version as quickly as possible.
The 14.0 release of the plugin included major changes to how the plugin accessed a site’s metadata, which unfortunately caused a large number of unforeseen bugs in the initial releases of version 14. We also have more information on this in the following article: https://developer.yoast.com/blog/yoast-seo-14-0-x/
Suffice to say that whereas the initial release of Yoast SEO 14.0 did have a large number of issues, we have addressed and resolved them in subsequent releases and the current version (14.8) is stable.
Millions pages of hundreds webmasters will disappear from the Google index! great job!
