Is transparent background possible?

Yes this is possible with the help of some CSS:

body #hotspot-{id} .hotspots-image-container {
background: transparent;
}

Where you would switch out the {id} for your image id, it looks like the one you linked me to has an id of 200. So your CSS would look like this:

body #hotspot-200 .hotspots-image-container {
background: transparent;
}
