• I’m new, and I’m using a drag n drop for the most part. I apologize if this is unclear. I’m trying to get my page speed up faster. Using divi theme and at 83mobile/93 desktop, so I’m doing well, but just really want to get this CSS inlined without destroying everything I’ve done so far!

I’m using one of the SEO plugins, but for the general purposes of being able to edit a child theme straight from the actual CSS, how would I go about doing this (not with a plugin? Likewise, how can I go about editing the HTML itself? I don’t seem to see the actual pages anywhere in my CPanel… what file are they listed under?

And on that note, is this why people suggest getting something like Filezilla? Does it make the copying of these files from a parent –> child easier than it is going for me right now in Cpanel?

Using a mac, so Idk if filezilla is the way to go, or whether i should get the one with the duck… 🙂

  • Hi,

Filezilla is ok for Mac, it works well, I used it for years. I am not much familiar with cpanel but what i know there some file manager – it works like ftp client, so you can edit/ downoload/upload any file from your site. If this its not nice for you, sure you can use ftp client like Filezilla or Cyberduck or anything similar.
For that you will need credential for ftp, you will find it somewhere in your hosting/panel.
