# Is this the right program?

 * Hello,
    I am very new at the whole blog and RSS thing. I am currently working
   on a website. roswellradio.org and need to have the news up. I am stuck and was
   told that this program would help me.
 * What I am trying to do is have the news guy be able to type in the title / story
   and then it post to the website like this.
 * main news page would be where the title would show up and would be linked to 
   a story…. you could click on the story link and then you would see the story 
   he typed..
 * Am I getting close by installing this program? Or do I need another program to
   make this possible? They want to be able to upload their own stories as they 
   get them.
 * Can someone help me or maybe point me in the right direction? Do I need an RSS
   builder program? If so are there any free programs available?

 * You’ve described almost every blogging tool, so WordPress in general will do 
   what you’re asking. If you also want to integrate it with a pre-existing site
   so you can display post (i.e. story) titles as links outside WordPress, [that can also be done](http://codex.wordpress.org/Creating_a_Static_Front_Page#Integrating_WordPress).
 * WordPress also provides feed syndication out of the box.
