• I have seen a couple threads with people asking how to change the default font settings. I too have a default of “Georgia” “12pt” that shows in the editor, EVEN THOUGH in my theme “Generatepress pro” I have “Ariel 14pt” set in the Topography settings.

The editor publishes the text as set by the theme, but when editing, it shows Georgia 12pt.

So MY question is, what is the default set by TinyMCE Advanced? Is it Georgia 21pt and should it not be picking up the Theme defaults? Would be nice if it did that.

Can you ADD in the settings a selection that will pick up the theme defaults?

Or can you add a selection in the settings so we can set the font and size that will show up in the editor?

    Thanks in advance, Jon

  • Second that. Please let me know too if I could set my current theme font type as default rather than showing Georgia.

    Thanks,

Best way is to edit (or add) editor-style.css to your theme, then define the font(s) you want to see inside the editor in it. I’ve been planning to make a small plugin to do just that, perhaps when I have some time 🙂
