Is this plugin still unavailable for SABs?

    Hi there,

    Just have a few quick questions about the plugin.

    We’ve been wanting to use it for one particular client, but I’m fairly confident we’re going to immediately run into an issue and the plugin won’t be useful to us.

    As far as I know, the Google Places API won’t work for service area businesses. Is this still correct?

    Is there any work around to this? Would upgrading to the Business plugin work?

    Can you also let me know what sort of rich results or schema the plugin is capable of handling or producing?

    Hi @auseokings,

    Yes, cirrect, the plugin uses a Google Places API and this Google API does not work with a SAB places.

    There’s no workaround because it’s a limitation of Google.

    About a Rich Snippets. According to the latest changes in Sep 2019, Google forbidden a LocalBusiness and Organisation schema types in the Rich Snippets for all sites except a listing/directory-sites (like Yelp or Facebook), according to this we think that the Rich Snippets from the plugin will not work:

    Unfortunately, it’s also a limitation of Google, not us or the plugin and it doesn’t work in the plugin anymore.
