Is this plugin still needed sine WP has a cron job which deletes transients?

    From what I checked, WP has a CRON job “delete_expired_transients” which runs every 24 hours. With that in mind, is this plugin still necessary? From what I understand, it does exactly the same thing.

    G’day Krzysztof,

    You probably don’t need this plugin unless you are having an issue with expired transients, perhaps with cleaning up some old ones including old sessions from WooCommerce 2.4 or earlier, and some NextGEN Gallery pseudo-transients.
