    The AMP plugin does not store any cookies for site visitors, nor does it store any personally identifiable information on your site. The only thing it stores is the AMP validation status of your pages and posts. As such, it is GDPR compliant by default.

    If, for some other reason, need to display a cookie notice on your website that works with AMP, we recommend using the WP GDPR Cookie Notice plugin.

    Thank you, James. That’s great. But I understand that the data is stored or transferred (or however that works) by Google, right? I’ll also look into that Cookie Plugin…

    @lebensessenz Nothing is shared or collected by Google or others. The AMP validation status is the only information stored, and that is stored within your WordPress install only, no externally.
