    I guess it is not.

We are currently working towards GDPR compliance and plan to be compliant by May 25, 2018. As part of our GDPR compliance program we will be implementing new procedures to obtain consent for the collection of personal data, including, but not limited to, email address, IP address, and cookie ID’s, both for processing by Disqus, and, where applicable, the publisher. We expect our publishers to take all measures to be GDPR compliant in their own right as well.

    Any update?

@iamfrancisyo how is this resolved exactly?!

The plugin still seem to be dropping cookies, and there is no way to opt-out of this if you’re not logged in?

    Hi there,

Could you please give us an update on this @iamfrancisyo ? -that would be great! 🙂 I’m looking into creating a GDPR compliant privacy policy and I find it a bit hard to know exactly what to write about Disqus and what cookies etc. it might be using on our site.

Also, have you considered supplying your users with a suggested text for the standard WordPress Privacy Policy Guide? (found under: ../wp-admin/tools.php?wp-privacy-policy-guide=1) – that would be super helpful!

    Thanks!
