We have an official document we would like to host on our site for members where they can login, add their custom data to the form, have this information stored in the DB and reportable/viewable as records to other members. Once a member has filled out his/her new form and saves it to the DB, they need to also be able to generate the official document (propagated) with the new entry content, for our association to use via email, and also printed mail.

ANY help would be so greatly appreciated. Thanks!

This is not available in WordPress itself by default but you might be able to find some plugins that would help you to achieve it.

Yeah, been digging ad nauseum…most I’ve found so far is plugins for custom forms that will do reporting, but can only download as .xls – not into a .doc.

Plus, even with a highly customizable fo4m, we still would not get the look and layout of our associations official documents. I mean the “output” is what counts, but once again, cannot find anything that will output in a custom document format.

If anyone has any “plugin” suggestions, most appreciated!

Have you looked into use pdf forms instead? I think you might find a lot more plugins that can generate pdfs.

Yes, still digging, and of course PDF would be more than acceptable if i can find the right one (plugin), and the output could at least come close to the look of our official documents.

Don’t mind the due dillegence, just thought maybe someone was looking for or had found the same thing and could share…

    Thx!
