Is this feasibly possible to custom develop?

    Hi I’m considering hiring a developer but I’m hoping to get some feedback to the complexity of this particular function.

    When a user is viewing the Cart… they are seeing the default/featured image of the products listed in their cart..

    What I hope to do is, on each product-page have a custom field, containing a URL to a Different, JPG file which, on the Cart Page Only… would display this picture, rather than the Default/Featured Image.

    My featured images is the product In-Use, and for Cart Purpose I feel just the product picture by itself would be a better fit.

    Within good, common programming can this be done by a developer without Hacks or bad practice??
