Is this difference normal – AW Stats vs Google analytics?

    Hello,

    My AW stats, which unfortunately I had been using as a guide to my sites exposure, consistently records visits / pages way higher than Google analytics. For instance yesterday:

    Unique Visitors:

    AW = 88
    GA = 33

    Can there really be 55 non humans / robots scanning my site every day?

    I inserted google code in the header using ‘Insert Header, Footer’ Plugin? Might there be a problem here? Or is this difference usual?
