Hi Jonathandejong,
if you do not get any response would you be creating a new plugin and github repo for this?
While this plugin works great so far, I am beginning a new project that is using it and would like know if there is another alternative available for the near future.
thanks!!

Hi @mcartur
Yeah I have already created a repo which is currently only a fork. I’ll give it a month or so but if I have no response I will separate it and create my own repo entirely and probably upload a new plugin to wordpress.org.
I’ve already made improvements (but it’s in beta so please submit bugs):
https://github.com/jonathan-dejong/wp-api-jwt-auth
(develop branch)
Thank you @jonathandejong!!
I will do it!
@jonathandejong
I’m using for the first time this plugin on a today project, but I got the error “POST http://localhost:8100/server/wp-json/jwt-auth/v1/token 404 (Not Found)” in the console; looks like it didn’t create the folder wp-json/etc…
Thanks a lot!!
Hi,
just to clarify this is now rewritten by me as a new plugin here:
https://github.com/jonathan-dejong/simple-jwt-authentication
Hey @jonathandejong,
Just installed your plugin and it is working great in WordPress 4.9.1! Thanks for working on this. The current plugin here was not working in my new installation with current WordPress.
Would be great to have this in the WordPress plugins repository, but I suppose you are waiting on a response and I don’t see one yet.
Either way, thanks for getting this up to date. I’m thankful to everyone who has worked on this, because it is very useful!

Hi @kerygmata
Glad you find it useful 🙂
I actually have not submitted it to WordPress yet due to my current workload (read stress).
